Varied repertoire, dedication of my fellow musicians, my fellow cellos, and especially, the leadership of Maestro Eckerling — he’s always prepared and always pushing us to excel.

Whatever I am playing at the moment, though I am particularly looking forward to the Verdi Requiem next season.

Playing cello, playing cello, playing cello. I’m also enjoying my “retirement” from 38 years of teaching public school orchestra by teaching orchestra and cello as a substitute teacher. I also enjoy running after my grandson.
