Most memorable performance with the ESO

Although I love the classics, two of my favorites were Mark O’Connor’s Fiddle Concerto and Schwantner’s Chasing Light, both of which I came to like as I got to know the work.

Favorite ESO soloist

Mathieu Dufour, the principal flutist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Why I like playing with the ESO

I enjoy the challenge and the ability to continue to provide music to the community. For the past seven years I have had the additional pleasure of playing in the ESO with my daughter, Sara Kujawa, who is also a violinist.

Spending time with my children and new grandson, traveling the world with my husband and my children, and continuing in the many active sports and fitness activities that keep me in shape.
