Why I like playing with the ESO

It is special to be a part of a real community orchestra. The ESO is made up of a wide variety of individuals, all sharing a love of classical music and working together to present programs that add passion and pleasure to the lives of both the musicians and the audience members.

Favorite composer or piece

The Planets by Holst and Adagio For Strings by Barber.

When I’m not playing with the ESO, I’m…

Traveling, taking classes at Northwestern and spending time with my family and friends.

Something most people don’t know about me

I was a junior high school reading teacher before my two sons were born, and after that I managed a surgeon’s practice for 26 years.
