Most memorable performance with the ESO
I have enjoyed so many of our concerts that I couldn’t begin to choose.
Favorite ESO soloist
Why I like playing with the ESO
I enjoy the process of learning and rehearsing works from the symphonic repertoire and the excitement of performance. I’m grateful to my fellow musicians for their talent and friendship, and to Larry for his wonderful programming and leadership. I also appreciate the talents and dedication of those working behind the scenes (including the ESO’s General Manager and board members) to keep everything running smoothly.
Favorite composer or piece
I particularly enjoy performing the works of composers who wrote big string parts (especially for violin), including Tchaikovsky, Brahms and Mahler.
When I’m not playing with the ESO, I’m…
Practicing law and trying to find time to garden.
Something most people don’t know about me
Two things: I sang the role of Annina in performances of Verdi’s La Traviata with the Tri-City Symphony (now the Quad City Symphony Orchestra — Davenport, Iowa), and I rode my bicycle across Iowa — twice.
