Help Evanston Symphony Orchestra support our budding musicians!
To raise money and encourage young people playing orchestral music, Evanston District 65 orchestra students will play side-by-side in a full orchestral fundraising concert with Evanston Symphony musicians on March 9, 2024 at 2:30 p.m.
Admission to the concert is free and all are welcome. Your donation helps put instruments in the hands of the students who want to play!
Your gift will go directly to a fund that ESO will administer to support District 65 scholarship instrument rental and repair:
$25 covers the cost for a student to rent a violin
$50 buys strings, rosin, case straps, and shoulder rests for 5 instruments
$100 covers the cost of a basic instrument repair
$300 sponsors a scholarship student for a year
With every gift of at least $25, the Evanston Symphony Orchestra will print your brief message in the concert program book*! Tell us why orchestra is important to you, your children, or loved ones; give a shout-out or offer words of encouragement to a player (youth or grown) in the orchestra; or give thanks and tribute to to a music teacher that has greatly influenced you. Or you can just make a donation.
Click the Donate Now button above, and be sure to include your message at the bottom of the form. Thank you for helping us give all young persons a chance to play!
