Pack your picnic, bring a blanket or lawn chairs, or relax on the park’s built-in semi-circular stone and grass seating at the Wallace Bowl in Gillson Park. Free parking is available in the Wilmette Beach parking lot after 6:30 p.m., and general street parking on Upper Drive and Michigan Avenue (highlighted in blue on the map) is always free. In partnership with Baker Demonstration School, kids can enjoy preshow and onsite activities, including an instrument petting zoo!
Admission is free.
Rain date: Wednesday, August 20.
The rain date is at Gillson Park if the weather is good, or at the Evanston Township High School Auditorium if it's raining or still wet. The decision will be announced Tuesday morning.
